[ROTM] What is your New Year's resolution as the writer for this muse?
My New Year’s resolution for Bela are—non-existent at the moment. It’s not that I don’t want to have them for her, I just—want to wait until the next episode with her to make a decision on where I want things to go with her. There’s supposed to be a nice character turn with her coming up. (This was promised by Kripke, which could mean anything, really. But this is Kripke, and I’m willing to go with whatever he says unless he kills her. Kripke, please don’t kill her.)
Anyway, once the big character turn happens, I think I’ll have a clearer idea of where I want things to go for her. As for right now—since we may not be getting that episode for a while—I’m going to be basing things on what little canon we have for her, maybe a little of roleplay, and trying to build a thin bit of background for her. Try and delve into her past a bit without speculating too much and having canon contradict me. I’m not going to try and guess who he killed, or any of the major moments in her background that hasn’t been revealed yet. But I do want to do little moments with her from her past, before she met the Winchesters, and try to develop her a little more. Bela’s been a lot of fun to write so far, and I’m hoping that continues to be the case.
